Building a Permaculture Community

CHALLENGE
OWC asked us to set up a community around permaculture, which can perform as an example/template for future communities. To make sustain this community information and education around the topic we needed which was therefore the second part of our challenge.
OUTCOME
After working three quartiles on permaculture we really see the urge in changing our way of agriculture. Permaculture is a feasible option for the world. But we also realized it is hard to change people. Creating a permaculture community and webinars about permaculture is a good start in the direction to permaculture. However there is still a long way to go.
PROCESS
QUARTILE 1
In quartile one we created a manual about permaculture. We created this manual for the to be permaculture community to explain permaculture thorough. We also did research on community building and crowdfunding.
QUARTILE 2
In quartile two we created the online permaculture community on Facebook. We also created a booklet for One World Citizens which they could use as bases for their different communities. This booklet was divided into two major parts, first the architecture (with examples) of communities and second with a data base of information.
QUARTILE 3
In quartile three we focused on how to create educational webinars and our crowdfunding. We eventually created templates for webinars which One World Citizens can use on various topics and to check whether these templates were correct we created some webinars about permaculture.
